User Credentials

To access the Business Portal you must be a registered user and have a confidential user ID and password. Please contact your local BHP Billiton representative if you have not been issued with a user ID and/or password.

Software Requirements and Settings

You will need Internet Explorer version 5.5, service pack 2 or higher to access all of the Business Portal functionality. BHP Billiton cannot support the use of any other browser software to access the Business Portal.

Installation of Digital Certificate

The Business Portal uses digital certificates to ensure that the confidentiality and integrity of your information is not compromised. Once registered for the Business Portal each user will be sent a digital certificate that will need to be installed on his/her computer.

Digital certificates enable security and encryption of all communication and data exchanged on the Business Portal.
